About Me

- There are three things that I am passionate about; my family, my career and continuous learning. Luckily, the last two go hand in hand. This blog will inform its guests about some of the things I have encountered as an ABE instructor.

Sherry, one of the tools that I think is useful to use in the classroom is blogs. Blogs provide a forum for discussion that goes beyond the course.
ReplyDeleteHow do you think the class blog has helped us reach out beyond our course? What do you know now that you didn't know before starting your blog and using it in our class?
Before starting our class, I barely knew what a blog was. I have a niece who has one, and that was about the extent of my knowledge. Since starting the class, I have imagined all kinds of things that the blog can be utilized for, from staff development to allowing students to review lessons if they should happen to be absent or need to review a particular skill. I plan to utlilize my blog within my curriculum. (Guess what I will be doing over break.) I see this as the future, and I don't want to be left behind.
